Welcome to my first ever Weeknotes ✨
What’ I’ve been up to
I finally picked up an IKEA Billy bookshelf to organise all of my stuff in my office. It’s about the only shelf that’ll fit my massive Lego Technic Bugatti Chiron and Lamborghini Sián, and still leaves me plenty of space to house my growing manga collection
I’m decorating my home office atm and finally finished painting this week. I’m onto the fun stage now; putting up pictures and organising shelves
Had a delightful weekend in Bath with my girlfriend - we both studied at Bath University so we booked accommodation on campus for a real trip down memory lane. I left with such a strong urge to do a postgraduate degree just to have an excuse to be on a campus again
Media
We just started Season 3 of Peep Show. I tried Peep Show years ago but it didn’t click so I only watched one or two episodes. I’m enjoying it a lot more this time around
I picked up Minami Lane on Switch; it’s a delightful little management sim where you add shops and buildings to a street and manage what they do or sell in order to meet the needs of the townsfolk. It’s really cute and very affordable. I’d recommend it so far if you want a ~5 hour campaign to work through. It also reminded me of Unpacking so I downloaded that on Switch too. I’ve already played through it once before but I’m more than happy to play through it again. From a story perspective it’s one of the most impactful games I’ve ever played
